Brief: To create a unique brand and bottle that’s not trend led but timeless. Presenting a strong on shelf presence to complement the unusual fusing of the rich cultural legacies of two nations. A non-alcoholic tequila made in Scotland is not something you hear every day. Seven Giants should defy conventions and challenges expectations.

The brand name inspiration for Seven Giants came from the similarities in the folklore of Mexico and Scotland.

On the Mexican side, the name draws from the seven Quinametzin giants of Aztec legend. It's believed the Quinametzin giants populated the world during the previous era of the Sun of Rain. According to Aztec mythology, these giants stood over ten feet tall and weighed over six hundred pounds. They built great pyramids and temples, and erected ancient cities.

Giants are also intrinsically linked to Scottish folklore. Dozens of feet tall, most were thought to have roamed Scotland in a time before humans. Many hills and mountains are said to have been formed by their slumbering bodies, and the landscape is littered with boulders thrown by these enormous characters.

The inspiration for the bottle pattern came from the shape of the agave plant. The plant's thick, fleshy leaves are arranged in a circular pattern called a rosette, which is particularly apparent when looking at the plant from above. Also, when an agave plant is cut and its spiky leaves are shaved off, the remaining central core, or heart, of the plant has a unique textural quality — this core is called a piña.
